How long does a session last?
Each session is 50 minutes.
What is the fee for counselling?
Fees are from £70 per session. I offer a free introductory 20-minute call to talk about what support you need, how I can help and to arrange your initial counselling session.
Can I use private medical insurance to cover the fees?
I am registered with the following Insurance providers; AXA, Vitality, Aetna, Allianz, Aviva, Cigna, WPA. Please contact me for further details about how your counselling fees may be covered.
Do you offer counselling online?
Yes, I work online (Zoom/WhatsApp/FaceTime), by telephone and in-person . Please contact me to discuss how you would like to meet.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions needed is different for everyone. I offer short, medium and long-term counselling and psychotherapy depending on your individual needs. We can meet for as long as we feel it is helpful and effective.
Is our work together confidential?
Everything you say is treated with respect and in confidence, except from rare exceptions concerning risk and safety.

Do I have to pay if I cancel?
Once we have agreed a regular weekly appointment time, advance notice of minimum 48 hours is required regarding any changes to our scheduled appointments. No charge is incurred if we can re-schedule a session during the same week. However, if this is not possible the full fee is payable. This does not apply to scheduled changes or holidays. This enables me to manage appointments effectively and avoids appointments being unused. Appointments need to be used to achieve the full benefit from counselling. If I need to miss a session, I will give notice as far ahead as possible and no fee is due.

We can meet for sessions online, by telephone or in-person at my practice location in
Godalming - a comfortable and private first-floor consultation room with bathroom facilities.
